AAMATERRA AT SOMA
On 14th of April 2023 Aamaterra painted Human bodies at SOMA, a closed nude fluoro body art bass music party.
Main idea of Aamaterra's body art was built around the concept of chakras. Chakras are Energy centers within the body that are believed to correspond to different aspects of our physical, emotional, and spiritual selves. There are seven main chakras, each located at a different point along the spinal column, where Aamaterra painted them.
During SOMA Aamaterra suggested those, whom she painted, to participate in the ritual: concentrate their Energy on those chakras which they want to develop, so she added some accents to these points.
The participants could also choose the color and some additional elements of the body art. So, every body art turned out to be unique as well as the Human who carried it.
